PSCCHC received representatives of shipping lines to overview the latest developments of the operating system __ Jun 2017
Port Said Container & Cargo Handling Co. headed by Rear Admiral Gamal Ezz El Din, Chairman & CEO, invited representatives of all shipping lines dealing with West Port Said Container Terminal. The meeting was held on Tuesday 30/5/2017 to present the latest developments in the operating system represented in the "Empty booking system" through the company's website. During the meeting, they exchanged views and listened to their proposals, queries and needs to be implemented within the limits of the available possibilities. As well as display all what is new in the operating system, which includes:
- Updating the electronic data exchange system (EDI).
- Application of the VGM service before shipment according to the SOLAS Agreement on safety requirements at sea.
- Expansion of the infrastructure to connect full of company's operating sites through fiber cables network, which have been developed and increased to include the new yard that added recently to the company's yard as well as the warehouse and its extension.
- Coordinating with customs for performance development through the replacement of existing customs connections to allow connectivity through the Optic Fiber network.
